  My family has been going to Akin Hills pet hospital for 20 years, and always had a wonderful experience! The staff is kind and treats our pets with lots of love and care. I highly recommend Akin Hills pet hospital!

  The entire staff at Akin Hills are awesome ! My dog recently got into some yard pesticide . I called our regular vet office which was Banfield in Apple Valley . I told them what had happened and that my dog was throwing up and drooling profusely . Both are serious symptoms of poisoning . Banfield said they had no time to see my dog and that I should call animal poison control . I then called Akin Hills and explained the situation . They said to bring Shadow right in even though they had a full schedule and they had never seen her before . They were watching for me and a technician took her from me as soon as I stepped thru the door . The technician took her right back and they started working on her immediately ! I will always be grateful to everyone at the Akin Hills Clinic for saving Shadow's life . Shadow has made a full recovery and as I type this I am forcing back the tears as I was sure I would lose her that day .
